Powerhaus was formed by Alan James over ten years ago. Born in London, England, Alan is the former lead guitarist, musical director & personal manager for International Singing Star, Roy Orbison. Alan has performed in most major venues and concert halls around the world including; Madison Square Garden, L.A Forum, Sydney Opera House, and The London Palladium. He has appeared on some of the nation's top TV shows including; The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits, Tom Snyder & Midnight Special, to name a few!

Alan has taken that wealth of experience and created one of best and most respected bands around today. Powerhaus is very dynamic and entertaining. The vocalists all have wireless microphones to insure plenty of guest involvement, if you desire. Leading lady "Deniece" is the newest addition to the group.  A native of Puerto Rico, she sings everything from La India, to Gloria Gaynor, J. Lo, Christina Aguilera and more, while still maintaining a sound all her own.
